Norton Aluminium purchase approx. 14,000 tonnes of aluminium scrap per annum for recycling and processing back in to Secondary Aluminium Ingot primarily for the automotive sector which consumes 80% of all secondary aluminium ingot produced.

Norton operates two 5000kg Rotary Furnaces and two 2000kg Induction Furnaces. Rotary furnaces are used for producing Secondary Alloys and induction furnaces are used for more specialist Aerospace, Motorsport and Marine grade alloys. All alloys are thoroughly tested during production using the companys three spectrograph machines to ensure the material is guaranteed within specification and can be fully certified prior to leaving the premises.
